So before we get into it, I want you to realize that working hard to achieve success is still required. Nothing comes easy but sure enough your hard-work will pay off. Also on a side note, even though this is an important one, when your list of expectations does not line up with God's plan for you, you will struggle to get to where you want to go. So trust in him, pray and rip up your list. What God has planned for you is so much greater than you could ever imagine! Let's get right into it! Here are the amazing benefits to starting your day earlier:

1. There are less distractions in the morning.

A typical day can get crazy busy, really fast. When everyone else is sleeping, it is easier to stay focused. This also gives you some quiet time to focus on your relationship with God. It is amazing how the effect of having some time with God in the mornings can completely change your day because it aligns your mindset towards God.

2. Exercising in the mornings gets your blood pumping.

Finding time to exercise can be difficult, especially after a long and draining day at work. Having to then go to the gym after work is honestly traumatizing. I speak only from experience. Finding the time to exercise in the mornings can help you be more productive. Knocking it out first thing in the morning gets it right out of the way and you don't have to worry about falling behind in your routines. A great benefit of exercising in the morning is that you also burn more fat than you would at the end of the day. Exercising first thing in the morning helps you already feel accomplished right before your day has even started. You will also be way more awake and ready to take on the day with a fresh mindset when you get to work.

3. Successful people are already doing it.

Successful people have limited time in their day to accomplish tasks and take personal time, which is why they get an early start to their day. And like I mentioned in the point before, it benefits you to be wide awake when getting to work so that you don't have to spend an hour trying to wake up at work, slowing down your progress.

4. You'll be more productive.

Morning people are more proactive. A proactive mindset leads to increased productivity, because you won't be relying on someone else to push you.

5. You will have time for breakfast.

Personally, I don't usually eat a big breakfast, I love my smoothies, but this still takes a little bit of time to make. Skipping out on breakfast increases your chances of getting a coronary heart disease, scary stuff. Making a good breakfast is more important than you can imagine! It also helps with your metabolism and lifting your energy levels. Your first meal should be your biggest, especially if you are exercising in the morning, you need to get that energy back.

6. You'll be happier.

Now I know some people will go at me for this because they are night owls, but there is research to support this point. Morning people tend to be happier and healthier. Considering the link between happiness and work performance, it is an easy way to see why happier early birds often find themselves flying higher than their late-rising counterparts.

So there's just a few reasons why getting up early can benefit your physical, mental and emotional health. Try it out and let me know on Instagram if this works for you. :) Till next time.
