NEW VENTURES

So most of you who have been following my blog will know that before the Virus struck, I was on my way to America, and pray it still happens, but in the meantime I have an exciting announcement! I finally decided to start my own business venture. I have been thinking about starting it for a really long time now and well I have finally decided to dive right in.

I decided to start this business venture for many more reasons than I thought I would have. Before when I had received this opportunity it just wasn't the right season for it. It is finally the perfect season for it. It is a beauty brand and it is so empowering, it is cruelty free and natural. I decided to go into the beauty industry, not only because my passion for it has started growing strong, but because my blog is all about helping you find and create the best version of yourselves. We also have an amazing opportunity to 'Nourish the Children', a charity you will help build by supporting. This company is animal friendly and has so many amazing products, I cannot wait to get started. I will keep you posted on my journey, naturally, about the products and their benefits so that you will be inspired to join this venture.

Another reason that I am starting this business is that I will be able to become financially independent, which has always been an important goal I've had. I think that each and every individual should rely on themselves before relying on another, like in marriage. I want to be able to afford the lifestyle I have always wanted, present and future, and I want to be able to give back to the community in a new way. I want to bless and be a blessing.

What I found to be truly amazing was that when I started working on the business, I started inviting God into it fully. It has changed my work ethic, my motivation and my desire for the business in the best way possible. When you invite God into everything you do, you allow him to speak to you and move in you all day long. You constantly have your heart, mind and soul set on the One who matters and the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way. I put on my Christian jams and honestly feel like I get more work done than listening to other music. Please don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with listening to other music, I just know that my way of truly spending time with God is through worship.

I believe that this business venture is going to change me completely. It is going to teach me to trust in God, to trust in myself and make me work harder than ever before. It is going to teach me self-discipline and self-motivation. It is going to drive me. If there's something you've always wanted to do, something you have always wanted to start, JUST DO IT. Nike new what they were talking about. Do it for yourself! Do it for the life you know you deserve, the life you have been dreaming of. Do it for the independence, the lessons, the experience. Do it so that you can be the change you have always wanted to see in the world. One of my favourite quotes is from Emma Watson, "If not me, who? If not now, when?"

What helps when going into your own business, or when you decide to chase any dream you have really, is to create a mood board or vision board that you put up where you can see it all day. Be sure to make God the center of it, because through all things you should keep him near. Here are mine: P.S Click on the images to see why I put these specific things on my vision board.

I keep my vision board up on my wall above my desk so that I can physically see it every single day while I work. I also have it as my desktop wallpaper so that I am constantly reminded of my goals wherever I go. Steve Harvey once said, "If you do not have a vision board, if you don't have a dream list, I am telling you, you are complicating your process to getting what you want in life. You're complicating it, because you are missing, because maybe nobody ever told you, or maybe you don't think that it applies to you, but a simple principle of success is that it has to be written down somewhere. Oprah was on TV for 30 years talking about these vision boards. Oprah! She got a billion dollars... she has my attention. And like I said earlier, you don't got to be rich to be happy. Maybe your goal is not to make a million dollars. That's cool. But you maybe just need 150 000, maybe you just need 200 000... I'm telling you, you have to write this information down!" So yeah, vision boards are necessary. You need to visualize your life the way you want it! And then you need to work at it!

"It won't be easy, it'll be difficult, but this will be the year she finds herself. This will be the year she discovers the power and magic that lives beneath her bones. This will be the year where she begins to walk away from anything that no longer deserves her presence."- r.h. Sin
